LIGHT is a Christian organization dedicated to the support of Godly home training of children. 
We provide encouragement, prayerful support, and communication among all homeschooling families. We coordinate group activities, provide information on education techniques and curriculum, as well as monitor legislation related to home schools. 
 
Communication
 
We communicate with all of our members through Email and Facebook. We use these two platforms to keep our members informed of events that are happening within LIGHT and our community that may be of interest to you. 
 
There is a LIGHT Google Group available for our members to communicate directly with one another through email. The purpose of this E-list is to provide members of LIGHT a place to discuss homeschooling issues and to ask questions of other members. Once a member, you can request to be added.
 
Membership in the Google and Facebook groups is limited to LIGHT members to protect the privacy of our member families.
 
  Fees
 
LIGHT Membership for the 2025 – 26 school year runs from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026. The annual membership fee for the 2025 – 2026 academic year is $30. You can mail your payment to LIGHT, P.O. Box 1362, Fortson, GA 31808. You may also pay via PayPal (additional fees) with the link on both the registration form and via the confirmation email once you register.
